The Venue

The Woolshed Restaurant & Bar, nestled 1500m above sea level in the Southern Alps, provides a stunning venue for your wedding, conference, product launch or special event.

The Woolshed Restaurant can seat up to 150 guests including a small raised stage area and also has with an expansive sun deck over-looking the breathtaking mountains beyond. The venue can accommodate up to 76 overnight guests in either bunk bed or luxury apartments.

Included in the venue price is the use of our sound and multimedia system that covers the restaurant, bar and out door deck area.

The Woolshed Restaurant & Bar is situated at Snow Park NZ in the Cardrona Valley about 45 minute drive from Wanaka and  one hour from Queenstown.  The last 13kms of the drive is on an unsealed private road which is kept in excellent condition in all seasons.

 

Catering

The Woolshed Restaurant & Bar has a wide range of menus ranging from relaxed barbeques and finger food to gourmet buffets or a la carte dining during winter.

Bar 

The Woolshed has an extensive wine list featuring award wining local and international wines.  We are also happy to assist in sourcing the right wine for your special occasion. If you wish to personally supply your own wine and beer, a per person cover charge applies.

Ensuite double room

The luxury fully furnished apartments are laid out with large north-east facing windows which flood the open plan interior with sun and stunning views.  Room configuration available as twin or double bed. There are four apartments, which sleep 8 each (based on twin occupancy). With Hot Tub and Outdoor fires the Apartments offer a great addition to your guests to relax at the end of your wedding night or function.  Total of 32 beds.

Bunkrooms

The bunkrooms are situated above the restaurant and bar. The bunkrooms sleep 44 persons. These are 5 dorm style rooms with shared facilities. The rooms are made up of the following configuration.

Cottage/Homestead/Sheraton – Sleeps 8 each

Smithy – Sleeps 4

Knuckle Peak – Sleeps 16
