Snow Girls 2012
Snow Girls is going to go off this year! We are pretty excited and you should be too.
Photos from all our camps are up – check out the album on our facebook page
We have some incredible coaches lined up for you all this season, here’s a little taster:
Abby is our claim to fame at Snow Park, with a strong competitive history and a life dedicated to the snow she is an incredible coach for the Snow Girls camps. Abby has been part of the camps since it’s inception and continues to pass on her love for the shred to ladies each year.
Abby isn’t the kind of rider that limits herself to one area of the sport; from slopestyle to big mountain she is one of the strongest female riders in NZ and proved this in winning the World Heli Challenge in NZ in 2011.

Christy Prior is commonly known as ‘that girl who rides like a guy’ and was rightly described by the commentator at this years Canadian Open as someone dedicated entirely to style.
Christy has been quietly developing an arsenal of tricks season to season and decided to let them loose last year, starting with the Big Air in Auckland where she won overall with a front seven off her toes. During the last Northern Hemi season she has competed and placed in the Canadian Burton Open and took out 1st in the Burton US Open Rail Jam, Billabong Flaunt it, the Breckenridge Spring Fever and the Quiksilver Invitational.

Adi Smith is our import from the Burton Academy at Northstar in Tahoe.
Adi has been coaching for the last nine years and during this time has trained hard for and achieved her American Association of Instructors Level 3 Snowboard Instructor certification, Western Divisional Trainers accreditation and USASA Level 200 Coaching certification… so she is just a little bit qualified to coach you to your goals.
Tori Beattie has been in involved in freeskiing from virtually every angle possible in the last 10 years. As a competitor, a judge, and a coach, she switches back and forth between the different roles.
An ex-slopestyle competitor, Tori turned her competitive focus to Big Mountain riding in the last couple of years, and finished runner up in last year’s Heli Challenge. As a coach, Tori has taken her humble beginnings with Snow Girls all the way to the top, having just spent the last northern hemisphere winter working as a private coach for Anna Segal, Australian slopestyle skiing legend, and multiple X Games medal winner. Tori is super excited to be back working with Snow Girls, and getting more girl skiers out there in the park.
